Pets
The Equator Resort does not accept pets. Only ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) Approved Service Animals are allowed on property. Please note that comfort animals and emotional support animals are NOT considered ADA approved service animals. Please see our Service Animal Policy page for more information.
Payments & Charges
- The person that booked the reservation is responsible for all damages caused by them or additional guests or visitors to the room and hotel property.
- All rooms must have a valid credit card on file for incidentals / damages.
- Cash payments for rooms are accepted, but a valid credit card must be on file.
- All charges incurred after check-in will be charged automatically to the credit card on file nightly starting each new day with a zero balance.
- Smoking inside the rooms is prohibited. This includes smoking or vaping of marijuana which is not permitted anywhere on property. A cleaning fee of $300 will be charged to guest who violate this policy which is determined by housekeeping upon cleaning the room.
- Balance of reservation is due upon check-in.
Responsibilities
- Any valuables must be secured in room safe or taking with guests when leaving the room. Items in rooms are not the responsibility of Equator Resort or its staff.
- It is the responsibility of the guest to follow all signs and directions posted in the hotel or directed by staff.
Miscellaneous
- Housekeeping service is offered daily from 8am – 2pm. Use of the “do not disturb sign” during housekeeping hours may result in forfeiting a full housekeeping service, but room supplies such as soaps, towels, etc are available at the front desk.
- While we respect guest privacy and the do not disturb signs with the highest regard, should the need arise, the hotel management reserves the right to enter a room at any time.
- Each additional guest beyond two (2) is $75.00 extra per night and must be disclosed at time of reservation.
- While we operate as a Male Only – Clothing Optional Private Space, per Florida’s Public Accommodation Laws, should a female wish to book, we will book the reservation with the understanding that there is a high likelihood that they would be the only female on property and the need to inform guests who book for the Male Only Clothing Optional experience so they can choose whether or not, for their privacy if they wish to be clothing optional in the resort.
Check-In to a reservation constitutes acceptance of these policies.
